ITI Basic Cosmetology is a skill-based vocational course that trains students in beauty, skincare, hair care, makeup, nail care, salon management, hygiene, and client handling. The course focuses mainly on practical training to prepare students for employment in the beauty and wellness industry. Students learn hair cutting, hair styling, hair coloring, facials, makeup techniques, manicure, pedicure, nail art, personality development, and customer service.

The beauty and wellness industry is growing rapidly, creating opportunities for trained cosmetology professionals. After completing ITI Cosmetology, students can:

• Work in beauty salons and spas
• Become a Hair Stylist or Hair Dresser
• Work as a Beautician
• Become a Makeup Artist
• Work as a Skin Care Specialist
• Become a Nail Technician
• Join wellness centers and beauty clinics
• Start their own beauty parlour or salon
• Pursue higher training such as CITS (Craft Instructor Training Scheme) and become an instructor in vocational institutes.
